Everybody keeps asking....

When are you going to play around Florida !
It seems we are always galavanting off to the UK or EU or Vegas or LA .
...anywhere but Florida !
Last time we played FL was a year ago at this same venue, so they must have liked us as we've been invited back. (God knows why? ;)

Well we had an offer the other day, and everything worked out, so we are playing March 20th ...just a scant 2 days before we head off to Germany.

So FLORIDA be careful what you wish for................we are playing an outdoor festival called Chasco Fiesta at Simms Park in New Port Ritchey, 30,000 showed up last time and we are expecting the same this time :0

Woke up this morning to the news of a guitar player friend of mine died on stage (good place to go ;) ,the funeral is today for Ricky 'Big Man' Vance......a benefit will surely follow as he leaves behind a wife of 21 years and 14 and 19 year old children.

Then I open up to read my very first email , a letter from a Wholigan fan from Hamilton who I know quite well, and her father a WHO fan had passed on as well.

I found it very very heavy that a Wholigan fan would share that *moment with me.

I'm sure I'm not telling you something you don't already know,but I've never seen so much news about The Who in a long long time ,see their website here
It's really a major testimony to their popularity/longevity after all these years.
I don't know how many others can make such a claim.

I never thought I'd say this but,the owners and editors of The Who's site are doing a great job which is something that The Who have been lacking for many a year imo in the publicity dept.
Who fans seem to have more news now than ever before, I tip my hat to The Who and to the site for a job well done.
