Senior moments

In case I forget, somebody remind me on Monday (I get in late) /Tuesday that I have to post video on youtube.
Now you may think I'm nuts (and you maybe right) but the video is of Roger Daltrey singing at the 2006 Who convention with Simon Townshend.
It's a 3 part video series (possibly 4) with video of the days events with Irish Jack,Simon,Doug Sandom and of course Roger......(& moi :)

Theres also snippets of The Wholigans and Who'sWho (UK Who tribute) and The Casbah Club featuring Simon ,Bruce Foxton(The Jam) & Mark Brzezicki (Big Country)

I put the video's together today, but I've got to get ready to leave in a few hours.
It's been sitting on a shelf gathering dust for 4 years but the footage is so good I think it's time to put it out there.

Naked Eye

I posted a video of us playing Naked Eye in Ft.Lauderdale Florida from 05
(I think)
Its my favourite Who song, but we rarely rarely (if ever ) play it.

I looked through all my recordings (not all, but a lot) and could only find this version.
Yeah ok so it's not perfect ,but good enough .

This video was done just a few months (if that) after a major back surgery (1 of 2) so you don't see me move a whole heck of a lot.

I think the guitar really really has that 70's Pete sound , he plays through a HIWATT cp103 Townshend signature series.
Those amps are THE BEST ! ..................(It helps that Chris knows what he's doing as well;)

The Wholigans
I've been practising really hard (and really having fun) for next weeks gig Jan 16th in LA, I'm really looking forward to our first LA gig (although I have sang there a few times with other Who bands)

Anyway I've been having fun belting out some oldies but goodies like 'Sister Disco' 'Pure & easy' 'Love ain't for keeping' 'getting in tune' 'run run run'' etc

We're not 100% sure what the set list wil be ,but we do know we are playing at least 2 hours+

I sure hope LA can handle the noise that is The Wholigans, I have a feeling they are already asking us to turn it down :
But like usual we'll smile and say yes and carry on blasting.....
Fuck it !..... it's The Who people !...you can't play quiet !

BE WARNED L.A.......The Wholigans are coming ! :}
